Yoga Postures
I subscribe to the belief that each person has an individual yoga style. Therefore each person will perform postures differently and be affected in a different way in performing their postures. That being said, there is a defined way to perform postures that will allow you to be safe and effective in your practices. If a posture causes any kind of pain, it is best to heed the warning your body is providing and seek professional aid in alternatives to achieving that particular posture. On the other hand, there is no “perfect” posture. The goals of yoga, in my opinion, are to find balance, relieve muscle tension, remove energy flow blocks, and, most of all, enjoy yourself!
In the links below you will find yoga posture demos, and photos. You will also find procedures for achieving the postures, and physical posture benefits.
I am currently adding yoga videos to my YouTube Channel, so please check back and/or subscribe for future videos.
